For the second time in its six year existence, the girls on the Outlaws Swim Team posted the highest grade-point average in the state among 3A schools and were awarded "Top 10" academic pins for the 3.78 combined GPA. The Outlaws "academic all-stars" included Leah Berrey, Lexie Comfort, Jamie Cundiff, Tessa Durdan-Shaw, Anna Evered, Ine Fahle, Andie Lesowske, Jacquelien Mansker, Chelsea Meudt, Kelsey Patterson and Brittany Wall. Four out of the eleven ladies accomplished 4.0 during the winter season.
The boys' team, including Kevin Carlsmith, Will Hanson, Justin Hedemark, Casey Pyke, Lee Pyke, Scott Schreiner and Kyle Whipps tied with Phoenix for third place.
