down her times.
It did not work very well during the season but she never gave
up.

Most Improved Award
This award goes to a young man that a very accomplished
athlete in another
discipline. He struggled in the beginning of training to the point that
he said to me over and over , "I'll quit!". He just couldn't improve
his
stamina. He did not quit, but instead showed at districts, what he is
really
made of and dropped his 100 yds freestyle time from a 1:25 to a
1:15.

Most Inspirational Award
The Most Inspirational Award goes to an athlete that
showed every day
that he is capable of doing anything he sets his mind to. He was a
decent
freestyler to begin with but had very little or no skills in any of the
other strokes. During his shortened season he managed to learn all four
strokes legally and picked the butterfly as one of his favorites.
The Most Inspirational Award goes to
Eli Pyke
