Sisters Middle School offers a
wide array of activities and sports during the school year. Outlaw sports are
organized by SOAR, Sisters Organization for
Activities and Recreation,
and most
students participate in one of the many opportunities from fall to
spring. Teams
for football, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, cross country, track and
baseball
are created each year and, competitions are among teams from other
Central
Oregon
Middle Schools.
Activities
include Outdoor School for all 6th graders, special retreats for
8th grade, field trips to the Oregon Coast, and after school clubs like
the
Art Club, Book Club, Sparrow Club and a Science Club. Interim Weeks,
competitions, assemblies,
concerts and dances round out the palette of activities at Sisters
Middle
School. During the winter months, one of our staff members organizes a Friday
night
ski program in conjunction with Hoodoo also. |
