Nintendo's systems

After jumping into the video game industry they put out some consoles and here they are. In 1983, Nintendo released the Famicom system in Japan, which was their first attempt at a cartridge-based video game system. This was a booming success, selling 500,000 units within two months and was technically superior and inexpensive compared to other systems that were released in that time. In 1985 Nintendo released the N.E.S (Nintendo Entertainment System) which was the design for the Famicom and was another success. In 1989 Nintendo released the Game boy which sold 14 million copies worldwide. On November 21, 1990 the super Famicom or super Nintendo entertainment system was released. Later on august 1991 (three days later) the Super Famicom was released in the U.S. One year later the plans to develop a new 64-bit console codename Project Reality, which would render 3D environments and characters. In 1995 the Virtual boy was released. The console sold very poorly so they sent it to U.S. to try and get a better sale but it didn’t work out so well. On June 23, 1996 the Nintendo 64 was released in Japan and made a huge hit which sold over 500,000 consoles on the first day of its release. Nintendo followed with the release with the Game boy Pocket, a smaller version of the Game Boy color. On March 21, 2001 the Game Boy Advance was released with the following game console, Game Cube on September 14, 2001.
