You’ll learn about the people, their games, and a lot more so if you want to play super Mario bros then go ahead but if you want to learn a little more than stay here and you’ll learn all about the sub topics I just talked about.

If you didn’t know this Nintendo was a family business started by Fusajiro Yamauchi. His corporation was a card co. named Marufuku. The cards were hand made and named Hanafuda. As the years went on the hand made cards were becoming more and more popular and with this popularity meant that he had to hire more employees for his card company. After giving birth to only daughters he adopted his son in law to follow Japanese tradition of taking over the family business. The new president that took over was Sekiryo Yamauchi. He did the same thing just made Hanafuda cards and in 1933 established a joint venture with another company and then named Marufuku Yamauchi Nintendo & company. In 1947 Sekiryo made several new brands of Hanafuda cards. The same thing happened to Sekiryo he fathered all Daughters so again another son-in-law was adopted into the family business. The marriage produced a son, Hiroshi Yamauchi, but later Shikanojo abandoned his family and disappeared so Hiroshi took over the company.
