There are tons of types of music! They all sound different in different ways.

Acoustic, Alternative,  Blues, Classical, Country, Dance, Disco, .Electronica, Folk, Funk, Hip-Hop, House, Indie, Gospel,  Jazz, Latin, Metal, Opera, Pop, Punk, Rap, R&B, Reggae, Rock, R&B, Screamo, Soul, Soundtracks, Techno, and Urban are just a couple types of music genres.

Rock and alternative bands are most of the time described as "hardcore" or "highly intense", those who listen to rock or alternative have good taste.

Rap, hip-hop, and R&B artists normally think they're "gangsters" or whatever. They're song lyrics  normally consist of drugs, alcohol, sexual things, and violence.  They have a lot of slang in them as well.

This genre of music normally has a lot of screaming in it, and its defiantly a darker version of music. They talk about hateful things or just random things.
