| Bump/passing: To get a good set to the hitter, you need a good pass. When you pass the ball, you have to keep your knees bent, keep your weight forward, and extend out your arms. Then you put one hand in the other, and close your hands. Then you make contact with the ball in the middle of your arm between your hands and your elbows. So that is how you pass. | ||
| Setting: To get a good hit, you need a good set. To set, you need to make a triangle with your index finger and your thumb. Then put your hands right above your forehead. When you contact the ball, you use all of your fingers and push out the ball to the hitter. | ||
| Spiking: This is my favorite play. You have to wait at the ten foot line on the court. Then, when you know the timing of the set, you step with your feet; left, right, and quickly, right, left. Then you jump up extending your hitting arm and smash the ball on the other side of the court. | ||
