Runescape 2

Runescape... the massive online adventure game by Jagex ltd. Runescape is a game where you wander around doing quests, getting skills up, and interacting with players all over the world. On this web page I will tell you some things about runescape like what quests there are to, comparisons between Runescape 2 and Runescape classic, what advantages there are to being a member, and about updates, monsters, and the "lingo" of runescape, and some rare items.
There are member quests and non-member quests. Some of the non-member quests are Dragon Slayer, Demon Slayer, Restless Ghost, and Shield of Arrav. Some member quests are Legends, Underground Pass, Sheep Herder (which was frustrating to me) and Family Crest. Some quests require a partner like Shield of Arrav, which you need a member of the Phoenix or Black Arm gang depending on which one your in, and there's the Hero's Quest, which like the Shield of Arrav quest you need someone in the Black Arm gang or the Phoenix gang. The hardest quest of them all is the Legends quest (which isn't hard but they say it is for some reason) the quest it's self isn't that hard just getting the requirements are hard to get (click here to see the requirements for the legends quest), and the hardest non member quest is Dragon Slayer which isn't hard either and the requirements aren't hard to get (click here to see the requirements for dragon slayer).
In this web page I am mostly talking about runescape 2, but now I will talk about runescape 2 and runescape classic. if you have ever played runescape 2 and runescape classic you will notice big differences. one of the most obvious ones is that runescape 2 is 3d and runescape classic is 2d, some things are in different places (like the barbarian agility course), and some of the colors in armor like runite (rune) armor looks more like mithril (mith) armor (click here to see rune armor and click here to see mith armor). The weapon attacks are different like in runescape classic the weapons attacked at the same speed but now the 2 handed swords (2h) attack slower than the battle axes and the battle axes attack slower than the long sword and the long sword attack slower than the daggers.
There are many advantages to being  a member like you have more skills so you can get your skill total higher. Some of the skills are fletching which is making arrows bows etc., thieving which is pick pocketing people, stealing from stall etc., agility which is climbing over obstacles and makes it so you can get energy back quicker, and some parts mining because there are some better places to mine rune, addy, and mith.
In Runescape, Jagex makes updates like new quests, new monsters, new items. You can see the updates when you go to the main page and you see a little box that says Latest News and Updates. In this box is the updates, you just have to click the links to see the updates (click here to see the updates). One of my favorite updates is the recent one (at least recent at this point in time) is the one where you can make arrows and not have to click 15million times to make 30k (30,000) arrows. It also works for wool and flax when in the option menu in the spinning wheel right click the thing you want to make, and it works for glassmaking, leather crafting, pottery wheels, silver crafting, and fletching.
There are many monsters in runescape, like the King Black Dragon (kbd), Lesser Demons, Greater Demons, Kalphite Soldiers and workers, and the toughest monster the Kalphite Queen. The Kalphite Queen is level 333 it ranges (archery), mages (magic), and melee's (close combat), it used to only mage and melee but the new update makes it harder for people to kill it because they used to use protect from magic and let the workers surround it so it couldn't melee and they would be perfectly protected, but now it can range so you need a team (if they haven't found a new way to kill it) to kill the Kalphite Queen (click here to see what the Kalphite Queen drops. The kbd used to be the big guy he could breath fire, freeze you, range you with fire, melee, and poison. But now that the Kalphite Queen is here and more people prefer to kill it than the kbd.
Now in Runescape you will hear things like "lol" and "lmao" and sometimes "rofl", these are the Runescape lingo "lol" means laugh out loud "lmao" means laugh my butt off (butt in ruder terms) and "rofl" rolling on floor laughing. But there are many more out there and things like noob which is a beginning player, or a choob which is a player with experience and yet acts like a noob, and many many more.

In Runescape there are rare items like robin hood hats, dragon medium helmets, party hats (p-hats), and many more. At the end of the paragraph there will be pictures of rare items and a link to see all the rare items. In Runescape there are about 4 types of rare items; drop items which are items like bunny ears, p-hats, and masks, clue items which are robin hood hats, and trimmed armor (to get clues you have to be a member), certain black items which aren't really rare but for some reason people say they are, and the dragon items which are dropped by strong monsters (click here to see the the rare item page).
