There are as many as 41 different breeds of cat. Some of the cats that are popular are Siamese, Bombay, and the Egyptian Mau. They are from all over the world Siamese are from China, the Egyptian Mau is from Egypt, and the Bombay is from India. Some breeds of cat are not always from that country some are breed here in the United States not in their native place. Siamese cats that are born and breaded here in the United States they are American-Siamese, and the Egyptian Mau is from Egypt as well as the Bombay is from India. Not all cats are breaded here in the US because there are those types of cats here.
