The Raiders have had there fair share of coaches ,good and bad. On this page I'll tell a brief history of each of the coaches, their accomplishments and their defeats. They will be under the decade that they coached.
Eddie Erdelatz
(1960-1961)
Eddie Erdelatz was the first Raiders coach and did not start with the best of the best players, which led to them to a 6-8 record for the first season. The next season the team could not seem to sign any to draft players. Within their first two games they were scored 99-0 leading to Eddies dismissal on September 16, 1961 .
Marty Feldman (1961-62)
Red Conkright (1962)
There was little information I could find about these two coaches but neither of them had a good season and the records were not very pleasing.
Al Davis (1963-65)
At 33 Allen "Al" Davis became the head coach and manager of the Oakland Raiders, and was the youngest person to be in that type of position. And in three seasons led the Raiders to a 23-16-3 record and was named AFL coach of the year. Also in 1992 was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
John Rauch
(1966-68)
John Rauch led the Raiders to a record of 8-5-1, and lost only one game in 1967 against the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl II, and was named AFL Coach of the Year. In 1968 he again led the team to another great season with a 12-2 mark, but then lost to the New York Jets in the AFC champion ship game.
John Madden
(1969-78)
John Madden was among won of the best coaches in Raiders history, I think, and has an impressive background; a little more than I can write but I suggest you check this link out

Was coach of the Los Angeles Raiders going 8-12 before being fired.
Art Shell
(1989-94)
Art Shell record of 56 wins, 41 losses, total, and was named AFC Coach of the Year in 1990, but was fired in 1994 after a 9-7 season.
Mike White
(1995-96)
When he was coach and in the 1995 season started 8-2 but then lost there last six games ending with a 8-8.
Joe Bugel
(1997)

Jon Gruden
(1998-2001)
Honestly among the best coaches of all time, Jon had an overall record of 40-28 win-loss which unbelievable, not to mention the Super Balls.
Bill Callahan
(2002-2003)
Bill Callahan was a good coach to some and to others he wasn't but check of this Link for some more Background information
