Bumping

The most important part of volleyball is bumping. The purpose of a pass is to get it up to your setter, so the setter can set the ball to a hitter. First you put one hand on top of the other and make the inside of your thumbs touch. Then you let the ball bounce off of your forearms, and that is how you pass. There is another type of pass, which is called a pancake. In order to perform this type of pass you have to dive, and put your hand flat on the ground and just let the ball bounce off your hand. Now you can go try it out!
