As he neglected her, she started a new hobby, shopping. Marie relived her stress by shopping and spending tons of France’s money. The more he neglected her the more she shopped.

Soon the people of France became poor and hungry. People began to form angry mobs. Soon it wasn’t safe for the royal family to stay in the palace. The royal family had to move to a tower safe from harm. Louis was very ill.
