The Toyota center location is 1510 Polk Street Houston, Texas 77002. It was opened on October 6, 2003 it can hold 18,300. It was made for sports and entertainment. The construction cost $175 million. The architects that built the Toyota center were Morris Architects, HOK Architects and John Chase Architects. The history of the Rockets is that they were founded in 1967 they used to be called the San Diego Rockets from 1967-1970 then the Houston Rockets from 1970-to the present.
