In 1996 Ryan competed in amateur events. Every year he entered and succeeded in winning the CASL championship.  He also competed in the following events Slam City Jam, Triple Crown New Jersey, Gravity Games, and the X games. In 2004 he toured with Tony Hawk which is one of his major accomplishments. Ryan Sheckler won the x-games last year and this year he is hoping to do something fantastic!
