Hockey should be allowed at Sisters High School and Sisters Middle School. If hockey were allowed then It would give students a new opportunity, could boost Sisters economy and come-on, it’s a fun sport.
New opportunity for students
If an ice rink were built, and hockey were allowed to be played in it, then it would give students a chance to make new friends. It would also be a way for students to get in shape or just get off the couch. It would also widen a student's knowledge of sports and may even get them a scholarship to a college.
COULD BOOST ECONOMY
If a facility were built, then it could boost Sisters economy. One way it could boost the economy is by attracting tourists, and if we charge $5 - $10 per session, it could pay off the rink fairly fast. If we charged for admission for games that will also help pay it off.
FUN SPORT
Besides all of the other reasons I have explained, an ice rink should be built because hockey is a very fun sport. But if a rink were built you would not be restricted to hockey, you could have a figure skating team or a broom ball team; the possibilities are endless.
If an ice rink was made any where in Sisters, I know of several people who would gladly sign up for a team. Pleas support building an ice rink. Thank you.
