The History of Blacksmithing

Blacksmithing has been around for centuries. To make stuff back then they used a hammer, anvil, coal forge, and a pair of tongs. Back then blacksmiths where the most important business around. Anything that was made of steel was made by a blacksmith. From nails, horseshoes, the steel track that goes around the wagon wheels even the rings that go on a bulls nose. I could go on and on about the stuff they made. When people started putting  horseshoes on horses the blacksmith did it for a long time some made a leaving on shoeing horses after a while. We now call the people who do that these days fairers.
