Sisters Middle School Hoodoo Ski School

The Sisters Middle School's Friday night hoodoo ski program is a special opportunity for middle school students to go skiing or snowboarding Friday night at Hoodoo ski resort.   

While up there Teachers show students the basic of snow boarding and skiing to doing rails and new tricks on jumps. The students ride with their teachers from 4:30 to 7:30. Then they go by themselves or with friends.

The bus leaves from the middle school at 3:30 and arrives at Hoodoo just after 4:00. Most of the students go out skiing once they are ready, but some wait until the lessons start. The lessons usually start around 4:30.

The equipment that they absolutely need is warm socks, snow pants, a jacket, gloves, and a hat or helmet. Also anything they want to wear under their top layer (sweats or long johns). You could also bring skis, poles, a snowboard, and boots, but you can also rent these up there.
