PAINTBALL

            Paintball is a high adrenaline aggressive sport. Paintball started when farmers used paintball guns to mark cattle and sheep. Then hikers developed them and when they went on overnight hiking trips, they marked trees with them. Soon it grew and now it is a professional sport that people play around the World. It is broadcasted on ESPN, and ESPN2.

            Paintball is an expensive hobby. You need a lot of stuff, like goggles, facemasks, armor, guns, and paintballs. If you absolutely love paintballing and cant live with out it, I don’t blame you. But, if you are looking for something  a little less expensive Airsofting is the way to go. Airsofting is basically like paintball, just without paint, armor, and less money. Airsoft guns shoot plastic bb’s that sting and give you welts, but not as big as paintballs. Its still great fun that’s cheap!

            I really think we should have a paintball team at Sisters Middle School. I know the School is against guns and stuff like that, but it would be fun. Kids would have to pay a fee to get on the team, just like any other sport here. You could ask the School Board Foundation to lend some money. You can start the paintball team just like the Lacrosse team. They were given bran new equipment and scrimmaged all last spring. Then all of a sudden a Lacrosse League started. This year they provided gear, or you could buy your own, so you could do this with Paintball. Plus, a lot of kids would want to play, you could even have two teams here and they could play each other.

            It is also really easy to have a paintball company sponsor the school. They would give us paintballs, guns, and gear! Then other schools would like to start their own paintball programs. You have to give something a chance from the kids perspective. Just to start, have a paintball class for Interim week. People would want to play so bad you could have tryouts!
