Every day Mr.Glick does a mind trap.  A mind trap is a riddle or puzzle that challenges the mind. Click here to read some mind traps.

Mr.Glick's 7th grade science class did an experiment on yeast.  They put sugar and yeast in a test tube and put a balloon on top. Then they mixed the yeast and sugar.  The yeast ate the sugar and foamed up and produced a gas that filled the balloon.

In Mr.Glick's 7th grade science class they are  studying the 6 kingdoms.  At the moment they are studying the animal kingdom. They did the alive and well project.  They started it in the middle of February.  Each student picks a pet to study for 15 days and made a  report on the animal.  They will study the animal kingdom until spring break.

LABS for the 7th grade.
Right now  the 7th grade is studying the animal kingdom.  They did a lab where they cut a flat worm in half.  This does not hurt it and the head or tail grows back.  Also you can cut its head in half , vertically, and it will grow two heads!
On February 19  the 7th grade science class dissected worms.
 8th GRADE SCIENCE!
In the 8th grade the science class is studying energy right now (3/3/04).  A few
weeks ago the 8th grade studied dinosaurs.  All the students  made little dinosaur brochures.  (3/5/04) Students presented their projects on
alternative electricity sources.

During Interim Week Mr.Glick does the Science and Service class.  The students who sign up will hike and see waterfalls, go to the Portland Forestry Center and see how they make chocolate, spend the night at the Portland Zoo, stop at Krispy Kremes and get a snack, and do community service.  Also we will ride the Max in Portland.  All this costs only $45 and that includes breakfast, dinner, and lodging.
