What
is your favorite part of working here?
I love teaching
Yearbook , but I have a lot of jobs, so my work is never boring.
What
did you want to be as a kid?
I wanted to
do something with horses, because I used to be a total horse nut, or I
wanted to edit books.
Are
you married, and do you have kids?
I've been
married for 30 years, and I have two kids who both graduated from Sisters
High School.
Do
you have any pets or animals?
Yes. I have
two cats. I used to have horses and dogs, but now I only have cats. They
are named Tommy and Mosley. Tommy is a boy, and Mosley is a girl.
What
are some of your hobbies?
Quilting,
reading, cooking, baking, hiking, cross country skiing, traveling, and
back packing. I back-packed the Grand Canyon last spring break.
What
do you plan on teaching this year?
I teach Yearbook,
and I'm activities director (for student council)
What
are you most looking forward to about this year?
Having color
in our yearbook.
What
other jobs have you had before being a teacher?
I used to
be an editor for the Wall Street journal. I was also a Jazzersize instructor.
If
you weren't a teacher, what would you be?
An editor,
or retired. A retired traveler.
