Personal Teaching
How/What do you teach?
| I teach 7th grade Math Lab 1st period followed by Course 2 math which are 2nd and 3rd period. I don't like to stand up and talk all period long. I like kids in my class to share how to solve problems and work in small groups. |
What is your homework policy?
| Kids in math lab usually get one or two nights of homework a week and get two nights to complete it. Kids in Course 2 usually get homework 3-4 nights a week and it is due the next day. |
Why do you teach math specifically?
| I enjoy teaching math because it allows me to focus on one subject instead of all the subjects like I did in 5th grade. I also enjoy math and I know many kids don't, so I want to share some of my excitement for math with the kids in my class. |
