Ms. Schoenecker is awesome! The picture above is a picture of her in Maupin guiding kids on the Deschutes River.
Ms. Schoenecker teaches a couple of things. She is a Language Arts teacher and is loving it. She is also a rafting guide in Maupin, Oregon during the summer! Can you imagine all the stories she has to tell about rafting?
Ms. Schoenecker went to Oregon State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Education and got her Master’s at Concordia University.
Ms. Schoenecker got into teaching by being a rafting guide. She liked kids and thought she would give teaching a shot. Ms. Schoenecker was a substitute teacher for awhile and then got the opportunity to become the seventh grade Language Arts teacher at Sisters Middle School.
In conclusion I think Ms. Schoenecker is one of my favorite teachers and she is my home room teacher. I wish she had been my Language Arts in seventh grade. I really think all you six graders, going into seventh grade, would all love Ms. Schoenecker.
