Sixth graders follow a schedule that is partially self-contained, helping them to transition into a multiple teacher model.  In addition to their core subjects, they rotate through several elective type classes.  

Seventh and Eighth graders take six classes each trimester, including one elective.  Electives include classes such as band, choir, computers, drama, art , for example.  

Twice each year, students break from their regular schedules for a week-long all-elective interim week, which allows them to explore other areas of interest.  

The middle school offers sports programs all three seasons, in conjunction with SOAR (our local recreation program), as well as science and art clubs.
