Art 2, 3, 4
(10,11,12) 1/2 Credit; elective
Prerequisite: Grade of B or better in Art 1A and Art 1B or instructor approval

This is a combined course for the more serious art student. This course may be repeated for three years. Projects will be rotated or altered so students are not repeating lessons. Students will be able to do some projects of choice as well. Emphasis will be placed on production, appreciation, history, career awareness, and proper lab behavior.

This is an awesome class! We have so much fun and Mr.Baynes (the art teacher) is awesome!

The Kitchen

The art room has it's own kitchen! We have a microwave,
coffee machine, sink, refrigerater, and even our own dishes
and silverware! The kitchen is a very important part of the art
room, especially in the advanced classes. Students can usually
be seen snacking on popcorn, home made treats, and even top
ramen! The kitchen mostly just helps unite us and it's a special
thing we like to do- a tradition.

The Music

We always have music playing in the art room. I guess it inspires us. However, deciding what music to listen to can be quite a debate. So we came up with a sign up sheet that says who gets to pick the music on what days. It seems to be working pretty well! Mr.Baynes is constantly telling us to "Turn that danged music down, geeze." The music really sets the artistic mood in the art room and keeps things lively.
