This is a basic art course designed to give the student a general understanding and knowledge of the visual arts /crafts. Emphasis will be placed on the following: (1) Art Production (3-D design, ceramics, jewelry, and graphic arts), (2) Art Appreciation/austhetics, (3) Craft history/culture, (4) Career awareness, (5) Responsible and safe behavior in a lab oriented classroom.
