Overview

Students will read and analyze American literature in order to identify perspectives of the American Dream and the diversity of the American Experience as connection to the development of Western Civilization. Also to be covered are the more advanced techniques in
oral and written communications, including basic research, utilization of examples and evidence, and basic argumentative strategies.
