This class will focus on an introduction to literature. Also to be covered are the basics of oral
and written communication, including reading of information, language structure, mechanics,
spelling, usage, organization of ideas and levels of formality.

Note: This class will be offered as two distinct trimesters. Students are required to take both:
English 9/Speech and English 9/Literature and composition.
