Overview

½ Credit; Selective * Offered 3rd trimester of senior year. 3 college credits through Oregon Institute of Technology Prerequisite: Teacher approval and entrance test.

This course level is offered in conjunction with Oregon Institute of Technology. The course will use college texts and follow a college syllabus. Instruction will include mechanics of college essay writing. Students will learn to shape a thesis which is worth developing and to
choose the means of development adequate to this thesis and to the needs of their audience. Emphasis will be placed on organization of thoughts and clarity of expression.
